KFYR's 10th Annual Tractor Trek

For ten years, KFYR Radio has been paying tribute to the tractor and the role it has played in farming and ranching. Our annual Tractor Trek gives us a chance to reminisce about that heritage, about simpler times and the changes we have seen.
Thanks to all our drivers, especially those who have been with us for each of our Treks. A hearty welcome to all who will be taking part this year. Enjoy the drive!
Our staging grounds area this year is at Buckstop Junction, just east of Bismarck Expressway off east Main Avenue.
Registration will begin at 8:00am. All tractors must be at Buckstop Junction by 8:30am.
We will have 12 divisions this year. Tractors have been assigned a division based on speed, with the slowest tractors leaving first.
The first division traveling 7mph will depart at approximately 9:00am followed in 15 minute intervals. Lunch will be at the Menoken School...Tractors will arrive back at Buckstop Junction at approximately 3pm…..give or take 15 minutes either way.
The public is invited to come out and view the tractors on display. Famous Daves BBQ will be offering dinner to the public as well.

2011 KFYR Radio Tractor Trek Route
Start & End at Buckstop Junction
From Buckstop Junction, take Highway 10 East one mile.
Turn Right (south) on 52nd Street. (1 mi.)
Turn left (east) on Apple Creek Road (3.3 mi.) to Pit Stop
(1/4 mile east of 93rd Street at Apple Way.)
Continue east on Apple Creek Road 6.5 miles Menoken.
Turn left (north) at Post Office and go to
Menoken School for lunch.
After lunch, go west on Highway 10 (6.5 miles) to 93rd Street.
Turn right (north) and go to McDowell Dam (1 1/2 miles)
for a 10 minute pit-stop.
Go back to Highway 10 and turn right,
continuing west to Buckstop Junction.
